You can’t go wrong with this classic Italian dish and it’s surprisingly easy to make. My roommate and I had a few packs of chicken breasts and all the ingredients to make chicken parm so we thought, why not? I made this recipe awhile back so the ingredients may not be exact, but hopefully you get the gist of it.

• Chicken breast

• Eggs

• Panko bread crumbs

• All purpose flour

• Tomato sauce

• Olive oil

• Spaghetti, cooked

• Parmesan cheese

• Mozzarella cheese

To start, set up an assembly line to cook your chicken and make sure the chicken is thawed/clean. In one bowl, whisk a few eggs to wet mixture for the dry ingredients to stick to the wet ingredients. In another bowl, mix flour and bread crumbs together. Then start putting the chicken breast in each bowl from the wet to the dry. In a skillet, add olive oil to the pan and cook the chicken on medium to high heat. Cook the chicken till both sides of are golden. Don’t worry too much about the center being cooked because you will be baking the chicken.

First you’ll preheat your oven to 450ºF. Then place the chicken on a nonstick baking sheet and add tomato sauce and cheeses over each piece of meat. Then, bake the chicken till the cheese is golden and the chicken is cooked all the way through.

Once the chicken is done, add some sauce to your spaghetti and serve the two alongside each other. Make sure not to cook the pasta too early, you want your pasta warm! If you do, add the sauce and keep the spaghetti on low heat. It’s that easy… Enjoy!
