Time--Time was created by God for man's purpose and God's plan.

Ecclesiastes 9:11-13 (KJV)

11 I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

12 For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon them.

13 This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me:

Life can seem surreal when reality takes an abnormal, twisted, or unfamiliar shape. This often gives us the impression that we must adapt or assimilate. However, the Believer, must look through, not their own eyes, but the unchanging eyes of God, in order to identify the unmistakable presence and  reality of evil. Through God's eyes, we are able to see that change begins inward and is directed outward to reflect the character of God, defining and glorifying Him and His Kingdom.

If Believers were looking through God's eyes, they would know that they cannot bend the Will of God through laws, oppression, and discrimination. They would not look to leaders to bring about lasting change that must first take root within the hearts of the people, for change begins inward and is then, reflected outward.

Through the eyes of God, we can distinguish the true perfection of the human body. God made our bodies perfectly, Even if we have illness or physical impairment, we are still made perfectly. Our problems lie in not knowing or not caring about how to take care of our body, which was designed to survive.

Yes, we have distorted vision and allow darkness to come in when it comes to listening to, understanding, and caring for our body. We rarely think of needing a connection to God for preventive healthcare to help us understand our body. Yet, we are inclined to call upon Him for healing when we are suffering illness or injury. Just as we are a necessary part of the Body of Christ, God is a necessary part of the upkeep of our body, because our body is intended to be His Temple to dwell in. But, how often do we include the Holy Spirit in our day-to-day health regiment; that is, if we have one and utilize it?

Leaning upon our own understanding, we often misinterpret the signs, symptoms, and signals given off by our body. This is exactly what the enemy wants us to do, so that he can lead us into further harming ourselves. Perhaps, knowing this can help us to redefine physical and mental illness and prevent the stigma placed upon many illnesses by society.

In finding cures and treatments for illnesses, science and medicine have relied heavily upon understanding the make up and function of the human body and its reaction to invasive organisms, devices, and transplants. The psychological aspect of healing has revolved around behavioral science. Faith healing is often frowned upon, as many people have mistakenly believed that faith excludes science and medicine. However, as I mentioned previously, science and medicine are the study of God, the creator of humanity and all that is and ever shall be. Man didn't create science or medicine. One's faith should reveal that man can do nothing without God. It is the adversary who wishes to separate us and confuse our minds in order to kill, steal, and destroy.

God programmed our bodies to survive for an allotted amount of time given by Him. Even illness is a sign that the body is trying to survive, but, we are in need of a tune-up in order to keep our body working properly. Comparatively, like mechanisms, we as complex organisms must have the right tools and parts for proper repair and accurate calibration.

Our body knows what it needs to survive, which is why we have symptoms and illnesses. We and others just have to figure out the need to which the body will respond. God has placed everything we need on Earth. As time goes by, man recognizes, discovers, formulates, and utilizes more and more resources God has provided for our care and survival.

Like any illness, anxiety and depression are symptoms of a need. Each illness is a symptom of something that needs to be adjusted. There may be an imbalance of chemicals, crossed signals, stress and emotions in which the body chooses a response or reaction it feels is appropriate to tell us what is going on inside of our body. The body is signalling its will to survive in its capacity determined by its malfunction.

Too often we look at illness as the precursor to death and failing health, instead of the miraculous sign of the life-force within the body showing its will to keep the body alive and overcome darkness. It is during these times that we can be more aware of ourselves as spiritual beings, directing our minds to follow our spirit (heart) and thus, join the fight and will to conquer sickness and disease.

We must reprogram our minds as to the way we perceive and feel illness and disease, knowing that God has programmed our bodies to fight and respond. Each day we survive is due to the miraculous way we were designed by God.

As in all illnesses, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder (manic depression), schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses, must be treated medically. However, this only treats part of the illness. You see, the mind believes what the heart (spirit) is telling it. Without the proper information and foundation, the heart then is misinformed. A heart without spiritual guidance is guided by the world, which serves another master, the adversary. Thus, God says that my people perish for lack of knowledge. However, ...

Isaiah 26:3 (KJV)

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

We are experiencing a rash of suicides in the world today, which is a sign of the times, as the world moves farther and farther away from God. Many ask why. Why are people taking their own lives? It is no mystery, or abnormality, for the body receives its will to live from the Spirit of God. Those who reject life, reject God and His Spirit.

Many people give up hope because they are looking for a worldly cure for what ails them, be it love, money, power, acceptance, freedom, etc. Some people believe that all of their answers lie within the world. However, what illness should teach us is not to always look for a cure. Drug addiction has shown us that pills aren't always the answer for pain. No, what illness should teach us is to recognize the gift of life and the will to live which connects us to God, our Father.

What form our life takes on within our illness depends upon our understanding of life. That understanding can only be found in The Way, The Truth, and The Life, whose water of life allows us to thirst no more; who increases our faith; and shows us that life manifests itself in bearing good fruit attached to Him, The Vine. Therefore, disability, sickness, and disease cannot inhibit us or be a barrier in living a good life.

So, what about Alzheimer, Dementia, and so many other debilitating diseases, which impair quality of life? How can you say that they don't inhibit people from living a good life? I say this because we are spiritual beings inhabiting an earthly body, but, one day we will shed the corruptible for the incorruptible. I believe that the mind (soul) of those of faith encased within a diseased body which has been imprisoned and even corrupted by that disease, will one day be set free and become uncorrupted, for such is the healing power of man's resurrection through the sacrifice of Christ Jesus. As for quality of life, man does not set the standards of life's quality and his blindness often prevents him from distinguishing silver from gold. Therefore, we cannot rely upon the hearts and standards of men in the carnal world to define quality of life.

I watched a video of the incubation and hatching of a tiny egg, which I believe was one of two hummingbird eggs abandoned in their nest. Time went by and the man who had found the eggs and placed them into an incubator to hatch, anxiously awaited the fate of the eggs. I too, was hoping that time would soon unwrap the gift of life within the eggs.

A segment of the video showed the man holding the eggs under a light revealing an embryo forming within one of the eggs. The embryo did not form in the second egg that had been found in the nest. Perhaps, this was the Will of God, just as it may have been God's Will to allow the eggs to be abandoned, probably due to adverse circumstances, in which the mother met with tragedy. Perchance, it was to give others the opportunity to witness a life struggling to survive, while man tries to find the right tools and calibration to maintain its life. Perhaps, it was to inspire others to live and each of us to try and help our brother to live.

The man who found the eggs, chose to take the risk in hatching them to save life, which is precious. It leads us to ask ourselves what risks we will take to save our brothers and sisters from perishing. It is a question badly needed to be answered by everyone in America and worldwide as refugees and immigrants are turned away and mistreated. Are we our brother's keeper? Will we do unto others as we would have them do unto us? Have we considered that what we do unto the least of these, we do unto God? Do we really care?

The man showed how much he cared for the eggs. Carefully, he watched over them, turning them as needed, three times a day. He took joy in the revival and survival of the one egg and sadness in the loss of the other.

What a miraculous thing it was to see the embryo taking shape as God had intended. And, when the egg finally hatched, in its appointed time, the bird immediately opened its mouth crying out for food to survive.

How, I asked myself did the bird know that opening its mouth would keep it alive? Instincts? What are instincts? A body programmed to know exactly what it needs. But, programmed by whom? This mind boggling trait of a bird newly hatched from an egg completely skips over the evolution theory. The embryo was designed to be a specific bird and the bird emerges from the egg knowing exactly what it needs to survive.

Now, if the body of a bird has been designed to have these instincts and cravings to keep it alive. How much more has our God done for us, if we just pay attention and follow His instructions? The bird was opening its mouth every ten minutes to eat--every ten minutes--and it wasn't wearing a Rolex or carrying a cellphone to set an alarm. Punctually, it knew that this is what it had to do to take care of its body and live. Time. Time was part of God's plan for it's instincts and will to survive.

Perhaps, people will continue to see this as a mindless bird simply reacting to instinct, because they fail to see the connection and miracle of a mind that can react to instinct. I'm asking you to look beyond the mind of the bird into the design of the body which is encoded with intelligence that comes from beyond the flesh--intelligence greater than the bird and the man who fed and cared for it.

Within your body is a Master Design, designed by God. He has designed you to be a specific being in a unique body. The life that He has given you is from Him and is a part of Him. When you reject your life, you reject God. Our bodies reject that which is not part of God's design for it and this can result in spiritual, physical, and mental illness.

Most of us have some genetic defect attached to our DNA that is passed down from generation to generation, making it highly probable that we develop a physical, psychological, or, even a spiritual illness. But, God is in control. He created DNA and He knows that these things will happen. Can we call them mistakes? Can we discriminate because of them? Can we make fun of people who have them, because others laugh and make jokes about people with disabilities, yet, they don't really understand what they are?

We serve a perfect God and yes, through Him and Christ, we are perfected spiritually, even now, if we surrender all to His Will. Pride wears a disguise and hides itself from those who see themselves as wise, knowledgeable, intelligent, learned, highly favored and blessed, and elite, without giving all glory to God. You may glorify God with your mouth, but, God knows your heart. Therefore, see yourself as nothing without God, but, everything through God and because of God.

My heart sunk and I became anxious as I saw the bird become weak and on the verge of death. You could see that the bird wanted to live, but, he no longer had the strength to keep trying. He wasn't giving up, but, he lacked the resources and wisdom he needed for his survival. But, the man wasn't ready to give up on the bird. He knew that he had to find what the bird needed and try harder.

As time when on, change began inward, inside of the little bird and began to be reflected outward. What a joy it was to see the bird respond and start to sprout feathers and get stronger. I watched the bird, which had just come into the world, show me how to survive and why I survive. Yet, survival by itself is not life. This is what so many arrogant men fail to see.

After the man had nurtured and revived the bird who had become weak and almost died, he freed the bird and sent him out into the world to live. He had developed a connection with the bird and was very fond of it. Still, he knew that the bird had a greater connection to its natural habitat. And that natural habitat was created by God to supply the bird with all that he needed to live as a bird.

Is it any wonder why most of us never take off to fly, or, why we come crashing to the ground, when we reject what God has given us to survive physically, mentally, and spiritually? When we choose to live outside of our privilege, the Kingdom of God, our natural habitat, designed for us to live and thrive, we destine ourselves to ignorance, sickness, disease, suicide, emptiness, misery, greed, jealousy, hatred, selfishness, lust, and all manner of sin, ungodliness, and degradation.

All this MADNESS that is happening in the world is nothing new, of course. It only slightly shifts forms from decade to decade and century to century, because time incubates and nurtures, allowing for growth and development of all of man's thoughts and sin. To put it simply, it's the same old lie in a new outfit. Yet, man's spiritual growth is not determined by time! His spiritual growth is determined by his relationship with God!

Today, leaders can deny the existence of God and rule by corruption and sin and men are happy to follow them. Those who call themselves Believers promote, support, and hold up these corrupt leaders saying that they are appointed by God. Again, scripture is misinterpreted for the benefit of man to uphold sin, greed, and corruption.

Who will uphold Satan who is the appointed Ruler over Darkness and the Prince of Lies? Who will uphold the leader who rebelled against God and was cast to earth into darkness with the angels who followed him?

Each time a Ruler does unto the least of these, as God said, he does the same to God and rebels against the Will and Way of God. If he cannot treat others as he would be treated, he rebels against God. Each time foulness proceeds from his mouth, he rebels against God. Be you foolish men who follow after every new doctrine and false promise uttered out of the mouth of man?

Do unto others has no clauses or amendments. It can't be made into a bill, filibustered, passed through Congress, or signed into law by the president. It has no exceptions for leaders who reject holiness and righteousness and claim the power to make things better. God does not align Himself with unholiness. GOD DOES NOT CHANGE! It is man who follows after every change in the wind for self-serving purposes.

All of this MADNESS we see in the world is because men fail to preach the Kingdom of God as it should be lived within every Believer. Fear rules the majority of institutional churches and the Word of God has been cast aside for worldly politics and profit.

Time has been given to us, but, HOW LONG? For those who believe they can manipulate time and profit, let it be known that the race is not given to the swift.

Ecclesiastes 9:11 (KJV)

I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.

All of this MADNESS we see in the world is because man believes he has OPTIONS and TIME! BUT, TIME...TIME MY FRIENDS...is given by God. Each moment and second we are given is a blessing but, it does not make us blessed in holiness and in righteousness. It is knowing that you DO NOT HAVE OPTIONS! THERE IS ONLY ONE CHOICE TO MAKE IN THIS TIME THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US! And that choice is to choose to follow the ways of Jesus, to imitate the perfect man, who always imitated God. Imperfection and the acceptance of sin is a CHOICE, an option men believe they have, in order to live as they please. Those who have not been changed cannot see beyond the worldly view of perfect to understand the concept and the reality of being made perfect through Christ Jesus. They cannot see with God's eyes which looks at the heart. Their mouth defiles them, lauding themselves over others, and they remain impure because that is their choice.

No, we often don't see with God's eyes. We don't see what He sees when He looks into us and sees who we really are. We were meant to be His Temples, His bodies to dwell upon the Earth and be fruitful, bearing the fruit of His Holy Spirit, dwelling, resting and abiding within this Holy Gift He has given us, The Way, The Truth, and The Life; tending and nurturing this garden within His vast Kingdom. He has a plan for this fertile Earth, yet, men see it as a wasteland to be exploited for their greed and power. Will God dwell within an unclean temple? Will He cower to their will? How does God see their time and their treatment of their brother?

God smiles at their vanity; for He knows that He has made our bodies perfectly and they will cry out like the bird for what they need to survive.

YES! Our bodies hungering for LIFE will cry out! And all that has been done for vanity shall be undone by God!

Ecclesiastes 1:2 (KJV)

Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.

Time is an important function in our instinctive will to survive. But, God's holiness, righteousness, grace, and mercy gives us life!

Time turned as we grew and incubated within the womb, until our appointed time to emerge into the world. Yet, time is set by the hand of God and no man can possess it lest it be given to him by God. Time cannot be bought and neither can everlasting life, for it is free, because of the price our Saviour paid upon the Cross.

Our time is now. Simply put, God tells us to wait for our change. Jesus tells us to stand and wait for His return. There will be an appointed time of emergence. We are in our period of incubation. Yet, we are not abandoned. God said He will never leave us alone.

So, in our DIFFERENCE, what do we do with our time, as we are surrounded by swirling madness? God has made us perfectly and if we are to have perfect vision, we must look through His eyes. When we look through His eyes, will we see Jesus! Look, He says! Look to Jesus, NOW, and LIVE!

Ecclesiastes 9 (KJV)

1 For all this I considered in my heart even to declare all this, that the righteous, and the wise, and their works, are in the hand of God: no man knoweth either love or hatred by all that is before them.

2 All things come alike to all: there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him that sacrificeth, and to him that sacrificeth not: as is the good, so is the sinner; and he that sweareth, as he that feareth an oath.

3 This is an evil among all things that are done under the sun, that there is one event unto all: yea, also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that they go to the dead.

4 For to him that is joined to all the living there is hope: for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

7 Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.

8 Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.

9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.

10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

14 There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it:

15 Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.

16 Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.

17 The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.

18 Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good.
