Divine Conspiracy (Divine Series book one)

Rose Hudson

Erin is a single mom who just moved to the Daphne, Alabama area to help open a store for her boss’s line. Patrick has lived in Alabama for ten years after he left his dark past in Louisiana. The two meet the night of her 30th birthday and feel an instant connection.

Despite this, Patrick feels he's nowhere near good enough for someone like Erin, so he takes off and doesn't see or speak to her for a month. When she shows up accidentally at his shop, though, he realizes that maybe fate is stepping in, so he works as hard as he can to get her to forgive him. His feelings for both Erin and her daughter, Ruth, quickly grow into something he never imagined he would have. But when someone from his past unexpectedly shows up with the intentions to harm his loves, he has to face his demons or risk losing the girls forever.

Book one in a two-book series. Contemporary romance with a HEA and a cliffhanger. Mature audiences only.

To say I loved this book is an understatement! Seriously! The writing and story was wonderful, and I couldn't put it down.

Patrick and Erin are such a wonderful couple, and I love Ruth! I wish we could have gotten even more scenes with all three of them.

I have no complaints about this book, and I highly suggest you read both this and the second book, Divine Redemption (review coming soon).

5/5 stars
