I ♡ the Peppermint Mocha Frappucinno from Starbucks so I decided to try and make it at home. My creation turned out pretty well and I wanted to share it with you guys. Hope you guys like your frappucinno :) ☕️  🍩  🍪  First off, you will need these ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp of ground coffee
  • 180 mL of hot water (or warm)
  • 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract (from McCormick)
  • 1 cup of hot milk (or warm)
  • A dash of salt
  • 2 tbsp of ground sugar (I used fine, white sugar)
  • 2 tbsp of Hershey Hot Chocolate MIX (no added sugar → very healthy!)
  • 2 small boxes of Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice-cream (frozen solid)
  • 1 tray of ice cubes (approx 30 ice cubes ❄ ⛄ 🌨 )
  • Powdered cocoa
  • Polka shavings
  • Chocolate sauce
  • Whipped cream

This is my own recipe, gathered from various sources such as Hershey's Brand and the internet. In my opinion, my Mocha Frappucinno tasted excellent! Here's how to make it:

  1. Mix the blue ingredients together (add warm water to the ground coffee → and set aside to cool!)
  2. Stir together the pink ingredients (pop the liquid mixture into the microwave for 30 seconds)
  3. Whilst the liquid mixture is in the microwave, mix together all of the orange ingredients (these are the dry ingredients → mix to a fine powder!)
  4. Add the liquid mixture to the dry ingredients (orange ingredients) stir until homogenous!
  5. Add the coffee mix (blue ingredients) to the chocolate mix (orange + pink ingredients) this will make your drink 'mocha' flavored!
  6. Pour the mocha mix into the blender along with 30+ ice cubes and two small boxes of Häagen-Dazs vanilla ice-cream (make sure the ice-cream is not liquid-y)
  7. After your mixture has blended and there are no clumps of ice left, you can choose to garnish your drink with whatever you like!

* I recommend powdered cocoa, polka shavings, chocolate sauce and whipped cream ;) Here are a few pics of my drink! Taken by Fuji, of course! I am still an amateur photographer by the way.
