I read some time ago a post written by journalist Tony Featherstone on the Sydney Morning Herald. He asserted that assistants adopted the personality of theirs bosses. He knew the personality of the executive who wanted to interview through how his assistant had acted and the office environment he had visited.

Of course there are many exceptions in both directions. However, there are cases that assistants have been adopting their bosses’ personality as a result of many years of dealing with them, being the same image of her boss.

Assistants should keep emotional distance, not let affect us the daily work and going on having a good image, since reputation come before people.
