'Audrey Rose Wadsworth and her partner-in-crime-investigation, Thomas Cresswell, are en route to New York to help solve another blood-soaked mystery. Embarking on a week-long voyage across the Atlantic on the opulent RMS Etruria, they're delighted to discover a travelling troupe of circus performers, fortune tellers, and a certain charismatic young escape artist entertaining the first-class passengers nightly.

But then, privileged young women begin to go missing without explanation, and a series of brutal slayings shocks the entire ship. The disturbing influence of the Moonlight Carnival pervades the decks as the murders grow ever more freakish, with nowhere to escape except the unforgiving sea. It's up to Audrey Rose and Thomas to piece together the gruesome investigation as even more passengers die before reaching their destination. But with clues to the next victim pointing to someone she loves, can Audrey Rose unravel the mystery before the killer's horrifying finale?'

Third book in the Stalking Jack The Ripper Series.

I absolutely loved this book.

I am such a huge fan of this series. When I heard there was going to be a third book I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I definitely went into this book with high hopes and unsurprisingly it didn't disappoint.

I loved getting to catch up with Audrey Rose and Thomas once more. Their chemistry and banter is so wonderful and realistic it is truly wonderful to witness. I also loved that some other characters that I have loved from the first two books also made an appearance in this book.

Setting this book on a cruise ship with a carnival as the main attraction was genius. The mystery and danger radiated off every page and made for a truly suspenseful reading experience.

I love the way Kerri Maniscalco weaves really events and real people into her stories. The addition of Houdini in this book was a fantastic choice and made for a really interesting story arc for all of the characters.

I am completely in love with this series and I absolutely adore both Audrey Rose and Thomas Creswell. This was one of my most anticipated reads for 2018 and it had quickly become one of my favourite read too.

I don't have a bad word to say about this book. I hope this isn't the last we see of Audrey Rose and Thomas. I can promise that if there is another book in this series I will be waiting with bated breath to get my greedy little hands on it.

Escaping From Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco will take you on a thrilling journey and leave you begging for more.
