For many months, I was debating over whether or not I should get eyelash extensions. I was skeptical at first because I didn't want my real lashes to get ruined, but after a lot of research and asking people questions, I was convinced. A couple of my friends got theirs done, and after seeing their results, I had to try it out.

I paid $80 and it was a 2 and a half hour process. To be honest, I wasn't too happy with the results at first - I thought they were way too dramatic and I just wasn't feeling good about them. They definitely take a lot of getting used to - it's still quite uncomfortable when I get them wet and they are very high maintenance (a lot of aftercare involved). But looking at them now, I love them.

It was actually pretty relaxing getting them done - I almost fell asleep! Overall, I had a great experience with the lash technician (her name is Amanda) and the whole process in general. The only time I felt discomfort was when the tape was applied under my eyes. Other than that, I did not feel any pain whatsoever. Amanda made me feel very comfortable as she knew what she was doing and took her time with it.

Below is a picture of my lashes before and after the process; you can see how big a difference the extensions make! If you have been considering eyelash extensions for a while, I say that you should just do it. It is so worth the time and money - I probably won't be stopping for a while.
