July is lining up to be a mammoth month for movie buffs around the globe with several highly anticipated films bouncing onto our screens in the next thirty days.

Here is a breakdown selection of this month's releases:

The Legend of Tarzan

Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie take the lead in the latest of many live-action remakes, The Legend of Tarzan. The tale follows John Clayton III, or Tarzan if you prefer, many years after he left the jungles of Africa. He is called back to his former home and is unwittingly embroiled in a dangerous convergence devised by the mercilessly corrupt Captain, Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz).

UK Release: 6th

The Neon Demon

In this internationally co-produced psychological thriller, aspiring model Jesse (Elle Fanning) arrives in Los Angeles to pursue her dream. She quickly learns of the eccentric monstrousness of the fashion industry. 

UK Release: 8th


Abby Yates (Melissa McCarthy), Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig), Jillian Holtzmann (Kate McKinnon and Patty Tolan (Leslie Jones) are here to save the world. Thirty years after the iconic original, this rebooted supernatural comedy, complete with brand new characters, looks set to take the box office by storm.

UK Release: 11th

Finding Dory

The return of Ellen DeGeneres and the beloved Dory has been eagerly awaited by Nemo fans ever since the original treasure was released in 2003. Now, thirteen years on and it's finally arrived! Our favourite blue tang is reuniting with her loved ones and will no doubt teach us something about the value of family.

UK Release: 29th
