Yesterday, in one of my drugstore beauty raids, I discovered Tattoo Junkie's Long Wear Liquid Lipstick at Walgreens. Now imagine my excitement; I mean it's called Tattoo Junkie. If it's got Tattoo in the name, it has to be long lasting, right? So I purchased the lipstick in Rebel, a dark vampy red. Because everyone knows how I love my vampy lips! So, today's Face of the Day is crafted around this lipstick.

Products

Face

Sunscreen: La Roche Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Sunscreen Fluid SPF 60

Primer: Nivea Men Post Shave Balm - Sensitive
If you haven't heard about using this men's product as a face primer, check it out on YouTube. The high Glycerin content is thought to help make products literally stick to your face. I've has a pretty good experience with it; after 10 hours, my concealer, bronzer, and highlight are usually still one.

Concealer: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer - Light
Usually in the summer, I don't like to layer on the same amount of foundation that I usually do. With the humidity, it just melts off my face! So, I opt for some concealer in trouble spots instead.

Highlight: Colourpop Super Shock Cheek - Wisp

Contour: Wet n Wild Contour Palette - Dulce de Leche

Eyes

Eyeshadow Primer: Urban Decay Primer Potion - Original

Eyeshadow: Too Faced Natural Matte Eye Palette - Honey Butter, Chocolate Cookie
I used Honey Butter on a fluffy brush all over the lid and Chocolate Cookie on a pointed, flat defining brush to define my crease.

Eyeliner: Colourpop Creme Gel Colour - Swerve

Mascara: L'Oreal Double Extend Mascara - Black
My HOLY GRAIL mascara. Not the most voluminizing or lengthening mascara I've tried. But, no panda eyes at the end of the day! The mascara is a "beauty tubes" mascara, so when washing it off it just comes off in strings, no smudges all under your eyes. Above all, with my long days, not looking like a black and white bear is top priority.

Lips

Lipstick: Tattoo Junkie Long Wearing Liquid Lipstick - Rebel
Not quite as long wearing as I was hoping, more of a matte paint you apply to your lips. The first layer is fine, then starts flaking off so you layer and that's where the trouble comes. After a few layers, there's just a matte, flakey mess on your lips. Yes, it's transfer proof, but it flakes off like crazy. Beautiful vampy red lip color though.

Have you tried any of these products in your makeup look? How did it work out?
