When starting a business it can be an overwhelming experience to figure out what tools will be helpful for your business. I have compressed a list of four tools with free plans to assist with the management of your business. What I like about these four sites is that as your business grows you can always upgrade to match your growth. Disclaimer(I am not sponsored by any of these companies. When I first started blogging and even planning out my business I must admit I was not organized at all(terrible I know!) After reading more experienced bloggers posts and searching the internet, the one fact that stood out was making an editorial calendar. My first thought was what the heck is that?! An editorial calendar is just a way to organize your posts and content. Whether you want to plan days or months in advance setting up a calendar will be a visual reminder of what and when you want to upload. You don't need to have a fancy or expensive software to plan out your important business and/or blogging info. I love Trello because it's simple and fun to organize anything you need. You create boards and lists to organize all your projects. Trello has great examples and tutorials on how to perfect whatever it is your need. They also have a (paid) business and Gold plan for even more customization, but the free one is very beneficial.

I'm sure many of you have heard about Canva. If not I highly recommend that you check it out. I consider myself a creative person, but when it comes to computers I'm not the best. Canva makes me feel like a graphic designer without actually being one(it's an amazing feeling I promise). No matter what you need to design Pinterest photos, blog pictures, email headers and so many more, canva is amazing to customize it to fit your brand and style. Even if your business may not be online they have options for presentation slides, flyers, etc. You can be  a complete newbie and Canva will make you feel like a professional in no time. Still a little worried that you might not be able to get the most out of this site? Check out the canva design school. It's so fun and learn how to create spectacular pictures for any project. Instead of paying hundreds of dollars to someone else, head over to Canva and make your own graphics! P.s(If you want free stock photos I recommend Unplash and Pixabay )

You have set up your editorial calendar and made beautiful picture designs....now what? As I have mentioned in my previous post I finally set myself up a proper schedule and with that I have decided to plan ahead of time. Hootsuite is for social media planning. I still have so much to learn using this site, but so far I absolutely love it. You can plan when to post on your social media accounts and what days and times. It's great because if your super busy this does the work for you. Of course there are paid upgraded plans to fit your ideal needs. Check it out to see if it's right for you.

The last but definitely not least is Mailchimp. Another important aspect especially  for business is building subscribers to your email list. Having a community that is interested in you and what you're doing is essential. One thing I love about Mailchimp is that it offers a free account for up to 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 emails per month. For a new blogger/business that's very good amount and for free. Again as your business expands and so does your list you can upgrade the account. The tutorials on Mailchimp are great to get you started.
