'Aspiring filmmaker and wallflower Twinkle Mehra has stories she wants to tell and universes she wants to explore, if only the world would listen. So when fellow film geek Sahil Roy approaches her to direct a movie for the upcoming Summer Festival, Twinkle is all over it. The chance to publicly showcase her voice as a director? Dream come true. The fact that it gets her closer to her longtime crush, Neil Roy—a.k.a. Sahil’s twin brother? Dream come true x 2.

When mystery man “N” begins emailing her, Twinkle is sure it’s Neil, finally ready to begin their happily ever after. The only slightly inconvenient problem is that, in the course of movie-making, she’s fallen madly in love with the irresistibly adorkable Sahil.

Twinkle soon realizes that resistance is futile: The romance she’s got is not the one she’s scripted. But will it be enough?'

I really enjoyed this book.

I picked this book up after reading When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon. Now I didn't love When Dimple Met Rishi so I didn't know what to expecting going into this book. I didn't expect to become completely immersed in the story and not what to put it down.

The characters in this book where really relatable and fully formed. I was able to identify with different aspects of all of the characters. I loved seeing the character change as they interacted with each other and grew as the story unfolded.

I loved the film making element of this book. The excitement and joy that the characters projected in relation to the movie they were making made for a really fun and enjoyable reading experience.

As with When Dimple Met Rishi, I loved getting to learn about the Indian culture. I found that the customs and beliefs really helped to ground this book and I really loved that.

Sandhya Menon did a wonderful job with this book and I cant wait to read more from her in the future.

From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon is a quick, easy and thoroughly enjoyable read.
