Book two in the Illuminae Files.

Told through a collection of documents; including emails, maps, surveillance footage and instant messages. Gemina follows Hanna and Nik as they defend their home from a BeiTech strike team. As Nik and Hanna work together to save the Heimdall, they soon realise that not only is it their survival on the line but the survival of everyone on the Heimdall, the Hypatia and possibly everyone in the known universe.

OMG Gemina totally blew my mind.

I absolutely loved Illuminae so I was concerned that Gemina wasnt going to live up to in predecessor, thankfully I was completely wrong. The narrative format of this book makes for a really interesting and surprisingly quick read.

I was genuinely impressed with the beautiful artistry that is found throughout this book.

One of the greatest things about this book was its dialog. It was sassy and sarcastic while still keeping up with the seriousness of the situation,

This fantastic Sci Fi book is not only funny and interesting; it has strong characters with relatable scenes and emotions, an amazingly unique format and a completely captivating plot.

Gemina has just made the Illuminae Files one of my all time favourite series.

The only down side to this book is that I have to wait until next year to get my hands on book three.

Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff is mind blowingly awesome and must not be missed.
