I met a friend from the good old days

He was still friends with his childhood friend

They still did the things I had outgrown

But they seemed happier

I saw four drunken men

I looked on as they sang their hearts out

Of a song which always played in my childhood days

Seeing how the children in them came alive,

I wished to join them

But they were just four reunited friends

I felt a smell today

It smelt not like perfumes or money

But it reminded me of something from my Kindergarten days

A time when the world was simpler.
