I have a habit of going through a pair of sunglasses every summer. So, naturally, I was in the market for a new pair of sunglasses this year that also wouldn’t break the bank. However, unlike previous years, I decided to do my sunglasses hunt on Etsy instead of a last minute choice at London Drugs.

Shortly into my search, I came across a Canadian Seller called Gro Collection who make wooden/acetate sunglasses. Seeing as their reviews were outstanding and the product was a reasonable price, I ordered a pair in Mint Green.

The Gro sunglasses are well crafted; the glasses have a sturdy bamboo with robust hinges that can withstand the wears and tears of life. The temples snug around my face, so, I don’t need to worry about them falling off.

The sunglasses have a frame that is made of acetate and contains lenses that are polarized and 100% UVA/UVB Protection.

Overall, I am quite happy with my sunglasses. At the price that they are, I am currently debating on ordering a second pair to keep as a back-up. I am also pleased that I was able to support a local, Canadian brand as a result of this purchase.

While these may not have the quality of a $200+ pair, I would recommend the Gro collection to anyone looking for a good pair of sunglasses at a reasonable price. Since they are stylish and reasonably inexpensive, you can afford to have multiple pairs.
