If you're like me, then you agree that one of the worst things about being an adult is having to shop for groceries.  It is just the worst.  Once a week you reluctantly get up enough energy to drive to the grocery store.  While inside you have to deal with other people's cranky children, people who stand directly in front of the only thing you need in that aisle for a solid five minutes, or forgetting you didn't pick up that one thing that is all the way in the back of the store...three different times.  It's overall a stressful and unpleasant experience.

For a brief period of time, my husband and I were able to order our groceries from Giant online and just pick them up at the store ready to go.  You just pull up, they put your order in then trunk of your car, you sign a paper and that's it.  Unfortunately we moved to an area that doesn't have that option at Giant.  We thought all was lost.

Until last week when a co-worker of mine let me know that Peapod Delivery is available where I live.  I freaked out when I found out this was a possibility.  Sure enough, I went online, put $20 off and free delivery.  Online, you can search by item name or browse the aisles like you would at the store.  The website is very user friendly and simple.

Today we got our groceries.  The website lets you choose a day and a timeframe.  The delivery man was very nice and carried all the bags into the kitchen for me.  It was an extremely pleasant experience and we got everything we ordered.  I think this is a great options for those weeks you're super busy and can't get to the store or simply just don't want to deal with the headache of going shopping yourself.
