Do you ever wonder what heaven will be like?  The Bible gives us many clues but because it is something that is hard for us to envisage, the clues are sometimes difficult to understand.  If you talk to people who have had near death experiences, they often have trouble describing heaven because we just do not have the words needed in our vocabulary.  One thing they all seem to agree upon is that it is beautiful.

In my mind, I have an idea of what it will be like, but I’m not really very worried.  No matter what it is like, I know it will be good, because God planned and created it.  It will not be corrupted by sin.  There will only be things there that God wants, nothing bad, nothing unwanted.

At the end of John 14:2 Jesus says, “I go to prepare a place for you.” (KJV)  Jesus Himself is preparing a place for me.  No matter how wonderful I think it may be, it can only exceed my expectations and it will exceed them throughout eternity.  He has prepared a place for everyone, but unfortunately some will remain empty because not everyone will accept His gift of salvation.  Will you?
