Most of the items I’m wearing on today’s post are from good old H&M: the sleeveless top, the shorts and the earrings.

I have to admit, I love H&M. I mean, who doesn’t?! Unless you have a whole lot of money to spend on clothes, you most likely love H&M too. Not only are their clothes and accessories right on trend, they’re also really, really cheap. What I love the most is that you can find many items that are inexpensive but great quality at the same time (and most importantly, many of their cheap items do NOT look cheap).

I had been wanting to get a sleeveless top for the longest, so I went to H&M and I fell in love with this one. When I looked at the price tag, I was in heaven: 12 dollars for this top! I just had to get it, there was no other option. I thought it was too cheap to be true, but I actually love it, I feel amazing in it! Same goes for the shorts, they feel super comfortable and were only $30. And these earrings… are they gorgeous or what?!

A few years ago, I realized something really useful when you’re a shopaholic: you don’t have to spend a ton of money on a clothing item; you don’t have to buy in the most expensive stores in order to get good quality. All you have to do is look at the quality of the items that you’re interested in. With years of practice, I noticed something: quality and price don’t always go hand in hand, and higher prices don’t always guaranty quality (and vice versa). Sometimes, you can find good quality items in cheaper stores, as well as poor quality items in expensive stores. Now you might wonder, how can I know if an item is good or bad quality?! Well, you have to look at the fabric of the item, the way it looks on you, the fit and the way it was sewn (if you see that some of the threads are coming apart, it’s a pretty good indication that the item is poor quality).

I don’t know about you, but adding some bright colors to my outfits immediately puts me in a joyful mood. I feel like they turn a classic outfit into something more fun. You don’t need to go crazy with the colors, all I did was wear this funky lemon clutch and pair it with these yellow earrings (that I adore), and voila, I created the perfect summer outfit. Adding one or two accessories in bright colors can be a great way to make any outfit stand out, especially for those who like colors but don’t dare to wear them.
What are your favorite clothing stores/brands? Do you often wear bright colors? If not, why not??
