It is once again a weekend of crippling heartbreak for Team LFCT, and I am sitting here typing this post with tears streaming down my face.

It is with overwhelming sadness that we share with you the news that Little Fighter Muhammad Hussain earned his Angel Wings earlier today.

Muhammad was diagnosed with Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) in August 2010, at the age of 6 months, and spent his first birthday in hospital. HLH is a very rare blood disease and immune system disorder, and according to Swedish studies, occurs in 1 or 2 cases per million, usually in infancy or early childhood.

After starting a search for a bone marrow match due to HLH, Muhammad was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia in February 2012, at the age of 2.

Muhammad put up a very brave fight for a very long time, and will always hold a special place in our hearts as he was one of our first Little Fighters… always smiling, always happy to see us…

Some of you may remember that around 2 weeks ago we did a post entitled Muhammad Hussain’s Story & Dream Come True ~ A story of Devastation, of Hope, of Unconditional Love and of how complete strangers pulled together and restored some Faith in Humanity by being a part of making a terminally ill child’s Dream Come True ~ To Play with a Dolphin

We are so grateful to all concerned who helped make that happen, and to those donors that allowed Mandie & Tommy to go up to the Eastern Cape to be with Muhammad and his family for 4 days last weekend… to extend some love and to say goodbye to a very Brave Little Fighter.

Our deepest condolences go out to Muhammad’s Mommy Kaamielah and Daddy Fahrad and all other Loved Ones.

May Allah grant him a high place in Jannah In Sha Allah
May his Loved Ones find contentment in knowing that their Beautiful Boy is no longer suffering and in pain Ya Allah place sabr and contentment in the hearts of this family In Sha Allah Ameen
