I have been there. We all have been through a painful breakup at some point of our life, and you know when the breakup hurts the most? When you have been such a good loyal person in the relationship & deep inside, you know you didn’t deserve this. You didn’t deserve the lies, the cheats, the “doing stuffs behind my back”, the broken promises. So, how do we get out of this? It’s hurting bones & soul! By laying on our couch and crying one’s eyes out? Nope! We definitely should refrain from doing this. Because doing this will lead to depression, over-eating or not eating at all, become so emotional that you start to blame yourself for the breakup and ultimately causing desperation & obsession to get your ex back! Brrrrr…do we want this? Not at all! So, what do we do? Here are some steps & tips to help you overcome it: Self-acceptance You have to accept that the relationship is over. Self-acceptance is hard, but this is what helps you to stop hurting yourself over it. Accept that your partner is gone. You’ve been a committed & good lover, you had great memories with each other but it’s gone now. Grieving over it is not going to help. It’s not going to bring that person back. When you accept it from your soul, you stop giving yourself false hopes & expectations that it’s going to be all okay again. Self-acceptance helps you to move on from it. Don’t hold on any resentment , anger & negative feelings inside you If your ex-partner has done hurtful things to you, like lying or cheating, it’s very normal that you will have anger against him/her inside you. Don’t push away those angry feelings and pretend that you’re okay. Feel those emotions. Go on a hill & scream! Cry out loud. Curse him/her for doing this to you. But, don’t hold on this anger inside you for days, months or even years. After you’ve let go of the negative feelings, forgive. Building up hate against your ex-partner will only hurt yourself. Don’t give them this power. Make sure that if you see him/her again one day, talk to them like a normal person. Forgive others not because they deserve forgiveness, but because you deserve peace ~ Jonathan Lockwood Change your current atmosphere It tougher to move on if you’re in the same environment; your home, for example. Take a trip with your best friends. Away. In a new place. A new environment. It’s going to change your mindset, improve on your new change. It’s better to go somewhere away from your crowded & busy city! Embark on a journey with nature! Practice only the things that you love Make a list on every single thing that you love to do! The more you practice those things that makes you happy, you will forget about the pain. Make sure that every single second of your life is being filled with stuffs that brings you smiles & joy! Don’t be against Love You loved deeply. It broke you. But, that doesn’t mean that you have to shun yourself from love. Or be angry when you see romantic couples or turn off the radio when you hear romantic songs. Just because it didn’t work out, doesn’t mean that you’ll never love again. I believe that there is a soul mate for every single person on this earth. So, if your previous relationship didn’t work, it just means that you weren’t meant to be with that person. Love is a beautiful feeling if you are with the right person. Manifest that feeling. Be in love with the idea of meeting your soulmate. Hope that helps! And, remember you’re amazing! You’re good enough & I’m proud of you! #BeHappy Published by Neha Gunnoo Share Mail Messenger Twitter Pinterest Linkedin Comments Related Article Life and Styles DEAR WOMEN Life and Styles Escape from the BS Life and Styles It Is Still August Right?
