This is mostly a fashion blog so for Day 5 of my 8 days of Blogmas, here are some Christmas Day outfit ideas. First, check out Wednesday's post, where I listed my favorite songs for holiday karaoke.

This post has four different categories: ugly sweaters, pajamas, formal and casual slay.

Ugly Sweaters

If you're going to an ugly sweater party, there is no shortage of ugly sweaters available in stores and online. Try TargetRue21 or a local thrift store. You can also get creative and make your own. Use lights, pom poms and glitter to transform a regular sweater into the ultimate ugly Christmas sweater.

Some people prefer to spend Christmas Day in their comfortable pajamas. Find a cute matching set, onesie, satin nightgown or robe to lounge in on Christmas day. lazyone.com has matching sets available for the whole family. Macy's has a variety of onesies, including festive ones! And for the cute nightgowns and robes, Misguided has you covered! Here is there red "Santa Baby" satin robeSweet Dreams night shirt, and a red slip dress.

If you're attending a formal gathering or your family likes to dress really fancy, then here are some options for you: Red Atria Dress ,   Green Strapless Dress from Lulu'sConvertible Navy Blue Maxi from Lulu's, and this wine-colored v neck formal dress.

Casual Slay

For those that are not attending a formal dinner but still want to dress well, these options are for you. Pair a casual dress with a pair of thigh high boots. It can be a sweater dress, a suede dress or any pretty dress you like. Here is an olive suede dress from Windsor for $42.90.  American Eagle Outfitters has various sweater dresses to choose from; for example here is a simple grey one for $35.97. Another cute casual outfit idea is a fur vest paired with a nice pair of jeans or thick leggings and some booties. Here is a faux fur vest from Abercrombie and cute booties can be found at DSW.

I hope these outfit ideas helped your Christmas day slay, whether you're going for the sleepwear or the formal dress.
