3. Luxurious Guest Carriages

The Maharaja train is nothing but a travelling palace. This train accommodates its passengers comfortably in 14 guest carriages- five carriages for deluxe cabins, six for junior suites, two for suites and one for a grand presidential suite. Each carriage has been named after the precious stone, for example, Moti, Heera, Neelam, Pukhraj, Firoza, Monga, etc.

The Maharaja Express has two dining restaurants that accomodate 42 persons each at any point in time.
