“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:9-10‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Have you ever been asked, “How do I become a Christian?” These verses give you the beautiful answer: Salvation is as close as your own lips and heart. People think it must be a complicated process, but it is not. If we believe in our heart and say with our mouth that Christ is the risen Lord, we will be saved. (Tyndal Study Bible)
One of my inspirations is to explain how Scripture works in our daily lives. The Bible is a complicated book. It has many pages with many teachings. To grasp all of it teaching and principle takes many hours of study and meditation. You won't be able to do it overnight. It takes time and dedication.
I should just point out the Bible does say that if you are not saved, you will not go to Heaven and receive eternal life. I hate mentioning that you will find yourself in hell if you don't believe. At the beginning of time, Adam and Eve committed sin and through time God tried to redeem us, back to Him. God created us and gave us the power of choice. Adam and Eve made the wrong choice. From that day man was bound by sin. God sent his Son Jesus to redeem us. Jesus died on Cross to achieve that goal. The same time, Jesus died, the Holy Spirit was released over the earth, to sanctify us. The power of that Spirit was responsible for Jesus's resurrection from the dead. Sanctification means making Holy. The power of that Spirit helps us to be better people.
Yes, this all sounds unreal to some of us. A little out there one might say. That is so far from the truth. I am probably the biggest sceptic in the world. However, the day I made the commitment to accept Jesus as my personal saviour, the inner peace I received has been unreal. Much the same us story above. It's not a story but an accurate account of events. Secondly, when you accept Jesus, you receive eternal life and a passport to Heaven. Also something we can't relate too. It is a promise direct from God.
So read the scripture carefully again and follow the commentary. All this can be yours, just declare it and believe.
If you need help, message me.
"Lord, I pray that these words touch people's hearts. God I call on the help of the Holy Sprit to reach people. I pray this in Jesus name. Amen."
