One of the few things that I enjoy watching on TV is the different judge shows.  It does help me understand the law sometimes but it also shows how little most people know about the law.  One thing that continues to amaze me is the number of people who are interviewed after the show that say the judge was wrong.  They seem to feel they know everything better than the trained professional and everything must be done their way.

Unfortunately many take the same view towards God.  When God tells them to do something, or says in His Word that they should not do something, they feel God is wrong.  Rather than look to God and see what He wants them to do, they decide what they want to do and then try to find someway to appease their conscience.

In a choice between God and myself as to who has a better knowledge of what I should do, my choice would be God.  Jeremiah 29:11 says, “‘For I know what I have planned for you,’ says the LORD. ‘I have plans to prosper you, not to harm you. I have plans to give you a future filled with hope.’” (NET)
