Yes it is the 4th of July, but it is also still motivation Monday. Forecast called for rain all day, so I had to take advantage of a small window to knock out my run for today. I headed to a new park (Bond Park) to explore it for possibly of being added to my running rotation. Bond Park is a pretty good size and has a lake, along with lots of entrance points to the Cary Greenway. I noticed there were lots of people in the park with their families, even though it was dreary and rainy. A good number of people were even fishing. I set out on my run through the trails, trying out different turns in hopes of not getting lost. Thankfully I did not get lost and found my way back to my starting point. Final Results 30:48 minutes, pace @8'59", 3.55 miles.
