Stress has become a part of everyday life of every second person in the world of today. The more we go through life, the more we realise that we are surrounded by pressure at work, within our families, social influences and simply the endless running around trying to get things in done in the time frame of 24 hours. How many times, have you thought that 24 hours is simply not enough to get everything done? So, in the life of stress and overthinking - how does one deal with this to remain completely sane and in balance?

Take breaks: Breaks are allowed - remember you are not a robot, you are a human - you need a break to be more productive.

If something stresses you out: figure out what exactly is it? is it your colleague that is afraid to assume responsibility and always puts it on you? or maybe a family member who has drained all your energy by trying to prove a point to you? Once you know the origins of your stress - you will be able to tackle it better.

Stop overthinking: easier said than done, but you have to do it. Just because you think the person will react in a certain way, doesn't mean they will. Also, just because you spent hours dwelling on the problem, the issue won't disappear unless you actually solve. So, stop overthinking and start solving the problem.

Think outside the box: if you can't find a solution by proceeding the way you normally do, don't be disappointed quickly. Try thinking from a different angle. What if you ask for help from someone who may bring a different idea to the table that will solve your issue?

Communicate & don't be afraid to ask for help: you'd be surprised how many stressful situations can be avoided by simply talking to your colleagues/friends/family? Talk to someone you feel comfortable with. Don't be obliged to talk to your "best friend", just because they are your best friend doesn't mean they are the people you want to talk to at the given moment. Don't put yourself under unnecessary pressure.

Let yourself be freer & don't be so hard on yourself: don't forget to live your life. Remember you are living your life for yourself. So why spend it on being hard on yourself and punish yourself for every imperfection. There is no such thing as perfection - so just enjoy your life and embrace all mistakes and imperfections! if someone judges you -let go of these people, they shouldn't be in your life in the first place!
