She walked down the hall

Dressed in purple-blue night robes

In the dead of night.

The door was askew,

With a dim light flickering

To keep the room lit.

She snuffed the candles,

And faded into the dark,

Flooded by moonlight.

Her gaze was caught then,

And she turned to the window,

With a Cheshire grin.

She drew them open,

Embraced by his cool night breeze,

And she felt quite warm.
