I have never understood the reason for making the bed every day.  Why not just sleep in it for a week or so and then make it when it gets so messed up the covers are on the floor?  I mean, does anyone really sleep any better because the bed was neatly made when they got into it at night.

I may feel this way about beds, but thankfully I have a totally different opinion when it comes to my walk with God. I don’t want my walk with Him to be messy everyday.  I don’t want to leave it a mess and only try to clean it up when everything is falling apart.  I want my walk to be neat.  Is it always neat?  No.  But I constantly try to live a life that is pleasing to Him.  That is what He wants from me.

Romans 3:23 tells us, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” (KJV)  We can’t be perfect but we can be assured that God will forgive us when we come to Him with a repentant heart.
