To be honest, I wasn't inspired by the sunrise sky for this look. I was just playing with the palette and ended up with this, and it really reminded me of a sunrise.

Sorry for the lack of posts, I've been extremely busy with Ramadan and finding it a bit hard to create new looks. Anyhow, I did manage to do this one and I hope to create new ones more regularly, at least every alternate day.

Coming back to this post, I had this Sleek iDivine vintage romance palette lying in front of me and literally staring into me. And I really wanted to avoid using my fav Toofaced chocolate bar, so all I used on the eyes for this one is from one palette.

I started by prepping my face with a primer and foundation then concealing the blemishes and dark circles. Then moved on to my highlight contour routine and set it all with powder. For my face, I used all Bobbi Brown products and concealers, in different shades for correction, conceal, highlight and contour. I like to get my face done first and then move on to the eyes, so it gives me a better idea of the whole look and I don't waste time going back and forth. It's just a personal preference! There's no right or wrong way to do it really. Anyway, I then dived right into the eyes and started by blending in my crease with a soft brown shade "Propose in Prague" and added a touch of pinkish tone using "A Vow in Venice". I then swooped "Bliss in Barcelona" over my lid leaving the center untouched and with small strokes gently blended in "Marry in Monte Carlo" in that space with "Meet in Madrid" right in the centre. I used the same shadows in the same order under the eye as well, except exaggerated the "Meet in Madrid" dragging it way below forming a sort of triangle and finishing it off with glitter.

For the lashes, I used the individual lashes by house of lashes, and the first time too! I tried using them before many times but I couldn't get it to stick to my lash line right and I'd end up messing the whole look. But this time I stuck by it and made sure I went through completely, and I must say, it wasn't that bad after all. All you need is a good tweezer to hold it in place (I used the one from Anastasia Beverly Hills), and the best part - you don't even feel like you're wearing anything other than mascara on your eyes!
