Love the black and gold packaging

This is my very first product review 😳 and I’m really excited about it because it’s a product that everyone has been talking about for the past month. It’s the Tarte Tarteist Pro Palette. It first came out on October during the Bora Bora trip that a lot of beauty influencers were invited by the brand to reveal their new products and in their snaps you could see some swatches but not in depth reviews or tutorials. After all they were on paradise they didn’t have a lot of time to work. I didn’t really see any YouTube review before I decided to buy it. I mean its TARTE and it was at a 25% discount, of course I bought it! I had a minor setback when I placed the order and the next day I call customer service and they weren’t really helpful. They told I needed to call FedEx so my issue could get solved and so I was waiting for the tracking number to be generated and meanwhile I went to their Instagram and posted a small comment about how Customer Service wasn’t really helpful. They immediately commented back and got my problem solved in less than 24 hours. Loved it!

The palette arrived pretty quickly and as soon as I opened it I noticed the smell… cookies or cake? Smells delicious. Then the swatches. The 4 duo-chrome shadows are amazing: full of pigment and pack with shimmer. I love all those 4. It’s better to apply those with your finger or a wet brush to get the full color on your eyelid. They’re so creamy!

The matte shadows won’t disappoint you either. They’re creamy and full of pigment. The blending is even and there are not patching at all. The only thing I found for some, not all though is that they tend to be a little powdery, but nothing you can’t handle. Totally workable.

The palette is made to create all sort of looks, from soft and natural to a little bit more dramatic ones, if you’re into romantic-every day kind of makeup you’re going to love this palette.

Overall, I really like this product and it’s a hit for me. This is a 100% honest review.
