New York Fashion Week is an event that marks the beginning of Fall each year, and this year the Runway Shows ended in a bright array of color, to complement the season, dressed to impress, casual and classy with styles by one of our favorite designers, Badgley Mischka – on the second-last day of the event. Designs by the creative duo are practical and suitable for everyone, but details are high fashion and glamorous. There truly is something in this collection for everyone, and a dress to wear to every event. Here is a recap of the highlights of the Show, from September 12, 2017.

Designers Mark and James, the creators of Badgley Mischka, hail from New York’s Parsons School of Design. Designs in this collection are modern, and created from the finest fabrics, affordably priced, without compromising on quality or workmanship. Dresses captivate attention and turn heads with the signature details, characteristic of this ever-glamorous line - think bright, candy-colored jewels - We love the jeweled accents this line is so famous for. No finishing touches go overlooked; everything is planned to perfection. Developed in the late 80s, Badgley Mischka embodies 40s style with contemporary updates.

Bright, bold colors allude to days spent out in the sun in familiar spaces and faraway places. Hues of flashy pink, yellow and red create an ambiance of passion, love, and a fiery sense of thoughtfulness in hopeful anticipation of things to come.

Neutral tones are livened up by subtle details too, with flared sleeves, colorfully embroidered hemlines, bows, ruffles and delicate, lace details.

We saw cocktail dresses, to remind us of "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and of course, the gowns.

Ball gowns closed the Runway Show with shimmering fabrics and more exquisite details. We love the carefully chosen color of each gown that graced the Runway in this season's dazzling collection. Soft accents, cascading wraps and floral accents stole the show, leaving us mesmerized by the minds behind the designs.

The effortlessness of the line is the beauty of the design:

“One zip and you’re glamorous!”
