With Week 7 in the books let's take a look and see who where the highest scoring fantasy players by position. As always I'll use my 20-team Yahoo fantasy league scoring system. Let's see which players had the best week.

Quarterback:

Andrew Luck, Indianapolis Colts, 27.01 fantasy points. Luck threw for 353 yards and 2 touchdowns. Luck also ran the football 5 times for 17 yards. His only negative is he was sacked 2 times in the game.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints, 22.84 fantasy points, Brees threw for 367 yards and 3 touchdowns, but he was also intercepted 1 time and sacked 1 time.

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers, 22.72 fantasy points. Rodgers out up his numbers on Thursday night, but he was still a Top 5 quarterback for the week. Rodgers threw for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also ran the football 2 times for 7 yards. Rodgers was sacked 2 times and did lose a fumble in the game.

Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills, 21.67. Taylor threw for 221 yards and a touchdown while running the football 7 times for 35 yards and picking up a rushing touchdown as well. Taylor also added a 2-point conversion, but was also sacked 4 times in the game.

Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 20.53 fantasy points. Winston threw for 269 yards and 3 touchdowns. He did run the football 1 time, but it was for -1 yards. Winston was sacked 2 times and threw an interception in the game.

On the downside hopefully you did start Joe Flacco of the Baltimore Ravens. Flacco totaled 0.56 fantasy points throwing for 248 yards and rushing 2 times for -4 yards. Flacco was also sacked 1 time and threw 2 interceptions in the game.

Running Back:

Melvin Gordon, San Diego Chargers, 40.10 fantasy points. Gordon carried the football 22 times for 68 yards and 2 touchdowns. Gordon also caught 6 passes for 53 yards and a touchdown in the game.

Jay Ajayi. Miami Dolphins, 36.35 fantasy points. Ajayi carried the football 28 times for 214 yards and a touchdown. It was Ajayi's second 200-yard rushing game in a row. Ajayi also caught 1 pass for 2 yards in the game.

Matt Forte, New York Jets, 35.90 fantasy points. Forte carried the football 30 times for 100 yards on the nose and 1 touchdown, Forte also caught 4 passes for 54 yards and a touchdown, but he did lose a fumble.  

LeGarrette Blount, New England Patriots, 32.50 fantasy points. Blount had 24 rushing attempts for 127 yards and a touchdown. Blount also caught 1 pass for 7 yards on the game.

David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals, 31.35 fantasy points. Even though Johnson's team ended up in a 6-6 tie he still had a solid fantasy week. Johnson carried the football 33 times for 113 yards and caught 8 passes for 58 yards.

Hopefully you didn't start Matt Jones of the Washington Redskins. Jones put up 3.20 fantasy points. Jones carried the football 10 times for 27 yards and lost a fumble on in the game.

Wide Receiver:

Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers, 35.20 fantasy points. Adams caught 13 passes and was targeted 16 times. Adams had 132 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Thursday night game.

A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals, 29.15 fantasy points. Green was targeted 8 times in the game and caught all 8 of those passes. Green had 169 yards and a touchdown in the game.

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 27.60 fantasy points, Evans caught 8 passes and was targeted 13 times in the game. Evans went for 96 yards and scored 2 touchdowns.

Randall Cobb, Green Bay Packers, 27.10 fantasy points. Cobb is the second Packers receiver to make the list for the week as he caught 11 passes and was targeted 15 times in the game. Cobb went for 95 yards and 1 touchdowns on Thursday night.

Julio Jones, Atlanta Falcons, 25.65 fantasy points. Jones caught 9 passes and was targeted 15 times in the game. Jones ended up with 174 yards in the game.

Hopefully you didn't start Jordy Nelson (I did) of the Green Bay Packers. While three Packers receivers had 10 plus catches in the Thursday night game against the Chicago Bears Nelson had just 1 catch and was targeted 4 times in that game. Nelson went for 9 yards and scored 1.65 fantasy points for the week.

Tight End:

Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts, 20.55 fantasy points. Doyle took full advantage of Dwayne Allen being out this week. Doyle caught 9 passes on 10 targets for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Delaine Walker, Tennessee Titans, 19.65 fantasy points. Walker caught 7 of the 8 passes he was targeted on in the game. Walker went for 84 yards and a touchdown in the game.

Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots, 18.30 fantasy points. Gronkowski caught all 4 of the passes he was targeted on in the game, Gronkowski went for 93 yards and a touchdown in the game.

Vernon Davis, Washington Redskins, 12.40 fantasy points. Yes it's that Vernon Davis. Davis caught all 6 of the passes he was targeted on for 79 yards in the game.

Gary Barnidge, Cleveland Browns, 11.10 fantasy points. Barnidge caught 6 of the 7 passes he was targeted on and ended up going for 66 yards in the game.

Hopefully you didn't start Martellus Bennett of the New England Patriots. Bennett has had a couple big week for fantasy owners, but not Week 7. Bennett was targeted 2 times in the game and ended up with 1 catch for 5 yards and 1.25 fantasy points for the week.

Defense/Special Teams:

The Philadelphia Eagles, 30.42 fantasy points. The Eagles racked up 6 sacks, an interception, 3 fumble recoveries and a return touchdown.   

The New York Giants, 23.19 fantasy points. The Giants had 3 sacks along with 4 interceptions and returned one of those interceptions for a touchdown.

The Seattle Seahawks, 20.04 fantasy points. The Seahawks had 4 sacks in there game and gave up just 6 points to the Cardinals.

The Baltimore Ravens, 18.61 fantasy points. The Ravens had 5 sacks, 2 fumble recoveries and returned one of those recoveries for a touchdown.

The Green Bay Packers, 18.59 fantasy points. The Packers gave up just 4 points on Thursday night while sacking the quarterback 1 time and picking off 2 passes.

Hopefully you didn't start the Tennessee Titans. The Titans did have 2 sacks, but where only able to put up 1.29 fantasy points against the Colts.

Kickers:

Sebastian Janikowski, Oakland Raiders, 19 fantasy points.

Josh Lambo, San Diego Chargers, 17 fantasy points.

Justin Tucker, Baltimore Ravens, 15 fantasy points.

Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons, 13 fantasy points.

Chris Boswell, Pittsburgh Steelers, 12 fantasy points.
