To many, I still live in the dark ages of television.  I only have cable.  That means I only have in the neighbourhood of 60 channels from which to choose.  When I was a boy we had an antenna and maybe 5 channels.  Many today have satellites with hundreds of channels.  With my 60 channels there are still many times when I can click around and find nothing interesting to watch.  I click and click and wonder what is the point to many of these programmes.  Sometimes it dumbfounds me.

I have this odd feeling that often God looks down at us and feels the same way.  He searches and searches but cannot find anything that He wants to watch.  Finding something enjoyable for Him to watch in churches would be challenging on many Sunday mornings.  I’m sure He would love to look down and see us enthusiastically doing His will every hour of every day.  God is God all the time, not only on Sunday morning.  We should live our lives in such a way that He can look down on us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and enjoy seeing our praise to Him in our lives.
