Although the temperature dropped significantly last month (basically 70s to 40s Fahrenheit 😱) that didn't stop the celebration of fall vibes. October was the time for spookiness, inevitable pumpkin spice, and the return of fall TV! It also turned out to be a great Star Wars-filled month; Pépe and I finished our prototype costumes for Rogue One (photoshoot coming soon!), totally freaked over the new trailer, and picked up some cool merch.

So with that being said, here are my faves from October:

1. Star Wars Tees - R2D2 & Death Star

I found these awesome shirts in the Men's department at Target, and let me say the selection of geek tees there is 1000x greater than the Women's. Why can't we all have the same options??? Anyway, good thing was there were small sizes available, plus the tees are a cotton blend so they'll shrink a bit.

I am in love with the green color and story progression on R2D2, and the diagram-style Death Star is pretty rad 😎

2. Rogue One Funko Pop Bobble Heads

A target exclusive, these Jyn Erso & Captain Cassian Andor bobbleheads are as accurately detailed as they are adorable. They are my new work buddies on my desk, and add a lot of fun to the environment!

3. Rogue One Trailer #2

On October 13th, the second trailer for Rogue One was released and it looks SO. GOOD. I've watched it several times now and I still get goosebumps. It features both new and familiar characters, beautiful environments and an intriguing plot line. December 16th can't come soon enough!

4. Returning Fall TV

Last month marked the return of some of my favorite fall shows on cable and Netflix.  Spooky shows include The Walking Dead, Supernatural, AHS and Black Mirror. To balance out the dark, I'm really digging Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, South Park and Project Runway.

5. Soundtrack Pick - Doctor Strange

Doctor Strange (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)

While I've yet to see the actual movie, I found the soundtrack last month on Amazon Music. As a fan of Michael Giacchino (check out Ratatouille and Jupiter Ascending), I was excited to hear his latest score, and it does not disappoint! It has a distinguished sound and an overall balance of action, fantastical and tranquil tracks, with some truly beautiful piano and choir sequences.

So thats's some stuff I can't get enough of from October! What are some of your favorite things about fall? Did you dress up for Halloween? Comment down below! 🍂🎃☕️
