A few years ago I went to visit my son in Indiana and ended up taking one of those interstate thruways.  Unfortunately, just after entering it the road split and I ended up heading in the wrong direction.  No problem I figured, I’ll just take the next off ramp and reverse my direction and take the correct route.  Bad plan!  I think off ramps were banned on that stretch of highway.

How many times do we find ourselves in a similar situation in daily life?  We feel the life-path we have taken has a destination to which we do not want to go and there seems to be no off ramp in sight.

It is times like these that we need to look to Jesus to be our off ramp.  No matter what direction you are headed or how far along the wrong road you have travelled, Jesus can take you and put you in the right direction and on the right road.  He knows the destination you need and how far along you should be.  Ask Him and He will put you in the place where you need to be.

Proverbs 3:6, gives us this instruction.  “In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” (KJV)
