'Oscar the Unicorn has eaten his stable so he needs to find somewhere else to live. Not easy if you're a unicorn who eats everything in sight ... No one wants him around: not the pirates or the fairies or the dragons. Will Oscar ever find a place to call home? Well, it just so happens that Princess Oola has been searching for a unicorn FOREVER ...'

This book is absolutely beautiful.

This amazing children's book is a perfect book being released at the perfect time. With Unicorns all the rage, this book is going to be loved by many children and more than a few adults.

Lou Carter did a truly wonderful job with this story. It is a hilarious, sweet friendship story that will captivate readers. I cant wait to share this wonderful book with the young readers in my life.

One of the things I love most about children's books, is seeing how the illustrations work with the story. In this case Nikki Dyson has done a spectacular job. The illustrations in this book are bright, engaging, and really beautiful.

The illustrations blend perfectly with the story being told. They not only compliment it but really help to enhance it.

I can easily see this book being a fast favourite with both children and there families. It is one of those rare children's books that is not only great to look at but wonderful to read.

Oscar The Hungry Unicorn by Lou Carter and Nikki Dyson is the perfect addition to any bookshelf.
