Last weekends shopping trip to Ulta beauty for Pacifica’s new Coconut Milk shave Whip ($14) was indeed a funday glamour babes! Is there really a day when it isn’t fun to shop and scope out new beauty products?! I didn’t think so, lol.

Funny, when I saw Pacifica’s post on IG last Saturday that they were launching their new Shave cream, I’m sorry shave WHIPS, I was actually considering a change and giving up my usual, Kiss my Face Lavender shave cream to try a new one.

Coincidence??? I think so, or it could be that I have a crazy IG obsession, or maybe a little bit of both….hmmmmm…yea, we’ll go with that! It’s a little bit of both, lol.

Pacifica’s Shave Whip comes in three scents; Coconut Milk, Kale and Mint, and Sugared Flowers. How pretty is the packaging?!

I was attracted to them like bees are to honey, my eyes pinpointed those babies out in a heartbeat, and I immediately flew right over (buzzzzz…flutter, flutter, mine, mine, mine). These were sealed tight, so, I couldn’t just pop the top and smell all three scents before purchasing, rats! I am a huge coconut fan though, and anything with coconut in it got me loco in de cabeza! That being said, Coconut Milk had me at hello!
If you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain, or simply putting the lime in the coconut, then this is your shave whip. This sweet beachy, delicious scented shave cream screams take me away to paradise! Lord, it smells so good (the scent is subtle, perfect for you sensitive sniffers), I wish I could drink it all up, sadly I cannot. The only parts of my body drinking this stuff up are the legs, underarms, and my delicate area, which will not be named, gotta keep it clean boys and goils, this is a clean, PG fun blog (wink).

If you are one of those people who like to work up a good lather before getting a smooth save in, this may not be the shave cream/whip for you.

Pacifica’s non-lathering rich Shave Whip has a lighter than air whipped, creamy moisturizing formula that gives you a super close shave, preventing razor drag (nicks), while the natural concoction (aloe, coconut water, vitamin E, white birch, kale, the works) of extracts help protect against irritation from ingrown hairs and razor bumps. Sounds pretty dope huh?!

Since Pacifica’s shave whip does not lather, you do need to use a good amount, but it spreads out quite nicely when applying to the area you are shaving. I use about a nickel size for each leg (thighs included), a penny size for the underarms, and for the bikini zone, a nice quarter sized squeezed gets the job done (two thumbs up!). I gotta say, all those natural ingredients kept my legs and other areas of the body silky smooth, and hydrated until the next time rolls around with the razor, keeping nicks, bumps, razor burns, ingrown hairs, and other skin irritations out of sight! I have used it three times so far in the last week and I love this Coconut Milk Shave Whip! My skin really feels great, and the hydration lasts all day long. Yes, it is a little pricey for a 5 oz tube, comparing to your run of the mill shave cream you can just pick up at any old drug store for about $5, but it’s well worth the money and Pacifica’s shave whip is cruelty free, vegan, and ALL NATURAL!!!!

Quality not quantity is what counts when taking proper care of your skin. Remember, your body is a temple and should be treated as such 🙂
Stay beautiful! Xo.
