To paint a sky

in rich vibrant hues

of gold, rose, and azure

to paint the clouds

white, bright and clear

and remove the heavy rains

within

to paint a world

imaginary or real

with no pain or tears

I'd give my anything to feel!

 

The problem with being a perfectionist is painting a picture-perfect world in front of the world,  not just for show but as a way of life. They have adapted it; they eat, sleep and breathe it. But it's a paradisal paradox; painting a perfect you, when you're a mess! In fact, the entire world is a mess...
