There is power in your voice. Why? God created it and we know that as the bible says in Prov 18:12 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. We all have voices and they are important. Special. Unique. One of a kind. Just as is every individual person. God created each of us specifically different. No two are the same. Isn’t that awesome?! He did not give you a voice for it to be silenced by the enemy! Always remember that. Too often as I’ve experienced it in my own life. I allowed the enemy to keep me quiet by thinking because I was already a quiet person, what was the use of my voice anyways? But thats a lie that he used and continues to try to use to keep me in bondage.

Not so anymore devil! Because the more I grow in the confidence of who I am in God and who He has made me, including my voice. There won’t be any shutting me up! The enemy is messing with the wrong one. We have to realize the authority we have in God and put it to use. We aren’t some weaklings in Christ. There are none in His kingdpm nor His army. We have to remain steady and strong at all times.

If we NEVER use our voice, we won’t know who could have used what we had to say. Who needed to hear it at that certain time. It could of been a life changer for someone. Let’s never miss an opportunity when it comes our way or presents itself. It’s that precious. So priceless.

Who said it didn’t matter or make a difference? Who? The enemy. Friends. Family. I know those words and whispers hurt and SEEM like truth, but its a lie. Don’t believe it. If it were true God would of never gave us a voice to begin with.

What is holding you back from using it? Is it fear, insecurities, critism, judgement….

It doesn’t matter what your voice may sound like- high, low, deep, sqeaky, etc. Know that everyones is different as to how God crafted it. Even those that have trouble speaking or speech issues. God can use that. It may not be in the same way as others but trust me, He can do it! God knows. He CREATED ALL of YOU. Don’t ever be ashamed of it because God isn’t. He made it and He loves the very sound of it! Each person has a dstinct sound. Don’t let the enemy steal your voice, because with it can your story be told. Even in your voice there is purpose and a plan. God never creates ANYTHING without it having a purpose or Him having a plan for it.

Be determined to use it for Gods glory whether it’s singing, giving an encouraging word, praying, etc. Our voices matter to God and the kingdom. Time out for keeping quiet! Open your mouth with boldness and confidently speak. The enemy wouldn’t know what to do with a child of God like that. Make your voice be heard. I think of the story of Moses when he felt inadequate of speech. Exodus 4: 10-12.

10 And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not eloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

11 And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man’s mouth? or who maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord?

12 Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, and teach thee what thou shalt say.

No longer be held in silent bondage by the enemy. Show him whose in charge but making up in your mind that today this very second, minute, or hour you are going to proudly and unashamedly use your voice that God gave to you! In praise, in worship declaring His goodness in your life. With the power of your voice tell of your story! What God has done and what He has brought you through and up out of.

Know the power of your voice and use it! Be strong and courageous. Your voice NEEDS to be heard. I hope and pray this post is a help, blessing, and encouragement to someone out there. God bless you!
