I am not usually a fan of screaming hot (as in spicy) anything, so when we decided to try this Stonewall Kitchen Ghost Salsa, I was not so sure that I would be a fan.

I was wrong.
This salsa is hot, for sure. Hot as in: Look out! This is freakin' hot!! But I loved it! I added it pretty sparingly to my nachos at first (read: wimping out) but then put a lot more on after I started eating. It was that good. Added bonus: my sinuses opened up like never before!

My husband loved it, too. My daughter? Not as gung-ho as we were, but she isn't a big salsa fan in general, so take that into account.

Nachos recipe: tortilla chips, refried beans, hot chili with beans, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, tomatoes. Microwave on high for about two and a half minutes. Add sour cream if you like it (I don't, so I didn't).

Verdict: Stonewall Kitchen Ghost Salsa is great, but not for the faint of heart. Proceed with caution.
