"Ultimately, man should not ask what the meaning of his life is, but rather recognize that it is he who is asked. In a word, each man is questioned by life: and he can only answer to life by answering for his own life; to life he can only respond by being responsible." ~ Frankl.

There is a lot of buzz and hype around finding meaning or purpose in life.

Perhaps too much? Perhaps not enough?

Purpose can change.

Purpose can be different today than it was yesterday, last week, last year or 5 years ago.

We know that purpose is one of the things we need in our lives to allow us to feel satisfied and happy.

We need to feel needed, a reason for being. Purpose.

Perhaps purpose is not so complicated?

Maybe we are too hooked up in finding purpose that we may overlook purpose.  Is this contributing to our unhappiness, are we seeking meaning in our lives when it is right in front of us? Are we complicating something very simple?

Purpose today may be to love and care for family. Purpose tomorrow to bring guidance and support to a friend in need.

Maybe we are missing what we set out to find by seeking our life's true purpose?
