I looked outside and the rain had stopped.  I went online and checked the radar.  The rain had passed and there seemed to be no rain in the immediate future.  After gathering all that information I decided to ride by bike to the store.  The ride over was fine, but when I came out of the store, rain!  I got rained on all the way home and then about ten minutes after arriving home the rain stopped.  Sometimes it seems that no matter how hard we try, things go wrong.

No matter how careful we are, or how meticulously we plan, something will eventually go in a way that we do not expect.  That is why we must ground ourselves on a rock.  If we are standing on a solid rock, when things go wrong we will not shaken.  God and Jesus is the rock upon which we need to build our lives.

Psalms 27:5 tells us, “For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.”
