On Saturday, it was my birthday. I was achieving the big 1/4 in a 100 years, a milestone, a quarter. I've learned so much over the years and have grown tremendously as a person. I was inspired this day as I reminisced into my past. I wish to write to you all about wisdom, truth, that I have learned about life during these years that I believe will bless you in knowing and finding your way in life.

I'll be sharing three lessons, one in each part of who we are: Spirit, soul, and body. Naturally, I place their importance in that order, but for the sake of reading, I will start with the body first, and work my way to the spirit, last.

Enjoy!

1. Body: Fitness

I've never been comfortable with "diets" or "limitations" but I often have found a friend in "balance". I began exercising earlier in 2016, growing in knowledge of fitness and nutrition along the way. I began taking my body very seriously. I've seen many develop great bodies, but failing to keep their shape, and they often experience this rise and fall in between their fitness, but I realized, it's because they have wrong reasons, at most, temporary reasons and sadly those reasons are based on looks, and not the real truth. Everyone's mind is different and everyone's goals are different, but if there is one thing I have learned, it is this: Consistency is the name of the game. You could have a six pack in the summer, but lose it it in the winter, and sadly for some, this is a reality.

I believe I have found, one key thing that truly helps a person stay consistent all the way through and this key is this: Exercise, because you love yourself.

I work out, consistently, because my body is a gift to me. It houses me, my soul, my spirit. Without my body, I cannot touch this world. My body is my home. If I take care of it, it can last, a very long time. So I don't work out for fashion purposes or for convenience, but rather, because of Love, because when you love something, you take care of it, you manage it, and you ensure its always in a good position. This is why I work out, because I love, myself, and that, is the most consistent I will ever be in terms of my body.

Exercise, because you love yourself.

2. Soul: Constant growth

What is the difference between a person who is consistent, and a person who does the same things over and over again? It seems very close in definition, but there is one major thing that separates them both:
The Constant state, of growing.

Consistency always grows to another level, while a person who simply repeats what they do, stays there.

Do I consistently work out? Yes.
Will I be doing the same workout exercises for the rest of my life? No.

Will I always watch new shows? Yes.
Will I only watch new shows but not read books? No.

The line between repetition and consistency, is growth. If there is growth, then you have consistency, but if there is no growth, then you have repetition. Repetition is good, if something is learned, but if actions stay the same, you fall in danger of developing religion and not relationship.

Consistently grow in the things you love to do and want to do, and do it, consistently. Be as the phoenix, of whom the ashes are your sleep, and when you awake, you begin once more, a phoenix, shining brighter, every time.

3. Spirit: God

This is a very touchy subject as I know some people don't believe in God, nevertheless it doesn't mean you are a bad person if you don't. However, if there was ever a key I could share universally in regards to the things of the spirit, it would be this: If what you believe in, does not love and set free for good, if what you believe in is based on your actions and not relationship, if what you believe in pulls you down in chains as opposed to strengthen you and helps you become a better person, then I say to you, that is not the truth.

The truth, is love, and love, sets free, free to be in relationship and not in rituals, free from bondage and chains, free to use strength for justice and to do good.

If you pursue these things, I believe you shall find yourself connected in your spirit to a world unseen. A world where you will discover the greatest power ever to exist. A power that can transcend time and space and can change the world for good and yet it cannot be seen visibly but still be able to be infused with actions and words. A power so simple, yet so many are blind to it. A power, that can be found in a mere child.

Pursue, Love itself.
