Day three of the 30 paintings in 30 days challenge. Today's subject is a Rose. I did a yellow Rose because it's very meaningful to me. My great grandma, my grandma, and my mom all love yellow Roses. Roses are so stately and statuesque. They demand attention, admiration, and respect. They look good mixed in with the landscape or as the show piece of your garden. They are enjoyed by royalty and even someone living in a little cottage.

I've always wanted a Rose garden. A place to enjoy them on evening strolls and to use for cut flowers to bring inside. I love the idea of beautiful rose bushes in perfect  rows with bricks walkways between. a beautiful fence enclosing the garden with several entrances with climbing roses dancing over the entrances. Maybe a gazebo covered in roses. One day I will have that.

Acrylic 2 1/2" by 2 1/2" on canvas.

Much love!!!
