'Bruce is a lot of things. He is a bear. He is a grump. He is a pretty decent cook. And he is a mother.

One thing Bruce is not?

Santa Claus.

But that doesn't stop the whole forest from lining up to give him their Christmas wishes when he becomes the victim of mistaken identity-again.'

This book was beautiful.

I honestly don't have enough words in my vocabulary to describe how wonderful this book is.

Written and Illustrated by Ryan T. Higgins this amazing book is both perfectly written and visually stunning. The illustrations in this book perfectly complimented the story being told and really capture the magic and wonder of Christmas.

After reading this book I went back trough it to really look at the illustrations. I love it when illustrations add and extra layer to a story and I love being able to see how the illustrations are influenced by and an influence to a story.

Ryan T. Higgins did a brilliant job with this story. It was funny, sweet and overflowing with love and joy. I loved the dialog between the different animals. I genuinely found my self laughing out loud whilst reading this book.

I can definitely see this book being a favourite for young readers and their families regardless of the time of year. I know I will be going back to this book many times in the future.

If you have a young reader in your life this is the perfect book to get them to add to their bookshelves. Trust me they and their families will thank you for it.

Santa Bruce by Ryan T. Higgins is a must have for all young readers and their families.
