This is a review from my blog:

Omg, I am so in love with this book.

Melissa Foster is an amazing author and if you have not read this book or any book in this series I suggest you get busy getting the books.

I just wanted to say before I begin the review that it was awesome getting to catch up on everyone at Seaside. I have missed them.

Matt Lacroux is a serious man. He strives for a goal and does what he has too to achieve that goal. He has worked very hard in school to get the job he wanted being a professor at Princeton, but he had bigger goals and worked his butt off to try to become dean. He lived in New Jersey and spent most of his time there teaching to gain more experience and spent a lot of time away from his family. He would go and visit of course but only for a few days at a time.

He published an article that went viral and was offered a book deal from it. He decided that since the job of dean is off the table he decided it was time to go back home for a while and write the book. He took a sabbatical from Princeton for three months and wanted to see what might become of him and Mira.

Ever since he met the beautiful single mom at his brother's engagement party the year before he has not been able to get her off of his mind. During the time when they were apart he did not date. He would go back home for a day visit and spend some time with her and her son, Hagan. He was trying with all of his might to not fall for her or her adorable son because he didn't want to disrupt their lives and he lived somewhere else. But, the longer they would have these visits and texting over the phone it was growing harder and harder for him to stay away. So when this book deal came up he knew he had to go home and see what they could have together.

Mira Savage has been very careful with her life since she became a mother. She learned that dating with a child was not really a good idea because men sucked. They loved to lie. But, when she met Matt at his brother's engagement party sparks flew and she has had a secret crush on him ever since. When he would come and visit with them and take time to get to know her son and treat him as a person made her fall even harder for him. She knew nothing could come of it because she didn't want to leave the cape because her family was there for one and she really loved working for his dad, even though the business is in trouble. She was trying to find a way to help him.

When she found out Matt was there for three months her heart soared, but she also told herself to be careful because he would leave soon. She didn't want her or her son to get hurt. But the more time they spent together that was becoming harder and harder to do because every nice thing he did for her son stole another piece of her heart to him.

Matt was beginning to love his new schedule. He was able to get up and write for a few hours then go and see Mira and Hagan then go back to write for a while longer then go and spend even more time with them. He was also loving to be around his family again and figuring out that this new life was growing on him. Over the past few years he had started getting unhappy about teaching because of all the red tape involved and with his siblings finding their forever love he knew he was starting to miss out on a lot.

He had put falling in love and starting a family on the back-burner but now that was looking more and more enticing. He still didn't know what he was going to do when the time came for him to either go back to Princeton and teach or stay and start a family with Mira and Hagan. But the more time he spent with them he didn't see how he could leave them. Hagan was such a smart kid and he truly loved hanging with him, and doing stuff with him like his dad did with them when they were young.

Mira told Matt about her plans to help his father and even though his father was not that receptive of it all he told her he would talk to him about it. When his father told him what was the purpose he was wanting to retire and the reason he worked so hard was because he was hoping one of them would take over the family business, but he knew that was not going to happen. Matt talked him into letting them come up with a plan. He agreed. Matt thought that if he got with Mira for good that it just might stay in the family, but he knew he was getting ahead of himself.

Now, this is where I am going to stop on the review of the book because I think that you should get a taste of what is going on then get interested enough to find out what happens and go and read the book yourself. But, I will tell you this. There is some very HOT, HOT, HOT love-making sessions in this book that you do not want to miss. Matt will make anyone hot and bothered. But here are some questions you can ask yourself before you read and you will find the answers when you are reading.

What does Matt do?

Does he stay and try to make things work with Mira or does he get a better offer with the school?

Does Mira succeed in her plan for his father's store?

How does Hagan feel about Matt and his mom?

Do they stay together or do they go their separate ways?

You will find all of those answers when you read and I do suggest very highly that you get this book and any of the others in the series that you have not read yet.

Thank you for reading my blog and I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did. I would love to hear from you and your thoughts on the book.
