I know I've been absent for a while, but I am most definitely back with a lot of really fun posts coming up that I can't wait to share with you guys! I decided the best one to start with though would be a follow up to my original Shop My Stash post that I uploaded ages ago. In that I outlined all of the products I wanted to try to use more of, and in this conclusion I'm basically going to tell you how I got on. There's a really mixed bag here because whilst I did keep some of them, I actually gave away a few products and threw some others away, so settle in and let's get into it!

Benefit 'Goof Proof' Brow Pencil: I knew this wasn't going to be something I continued to use for very long when I mentioned it in my original post, but I gave it a good go. However, I am a big believer in getting my brows threaded and then leaving them alone - I hate doing them or having to think about them - and so this was always going to be something I passed on to someone else.

MAC Technakohl Liner in 'Brown Border': I still love this as much as I always have, and to be fair I have been reaching for it a lot more in the past 3 weeks because I've been going for bolder lips. I'd really recommend this if you're looking for a darker brown eyeliner that can still look soft day or night, lasts for hours and doesn't leave you with panda eyes.

No7 Precision Lip Liner in 'Rose': This will forever be a product I adore, but struggle to wear often. It's a beautiful bright rosy pink that looks so pretty with a bit of black eyeliner and mascara and then slightly peachy/bronze cheeks. But I still don't reach for it all the time and I think it's because it's more moisturising than a normal lip liner - which is great - but it does mean that it needs to be kept an eye on and I can't always be bothered! Hopefully it gets some wear during this festive season!

Benefit Hoola Powder Bronzer (Mini): This is definitely a product I've definitely rediscovered, and I've been applying it non-stop over the past few weeks. I love my bronzers and I go through phases with them all, but I really do love Hoola for when my skin gets a bit paler because it is far from orange, and it's been fun to play with again.

Make Up Store Microshadow in 'Ruby': This has actually been my favourite product to rediscover, and I'm so glad I took some time to play with it. I do like this as an eye shadow, and I've created a couple of more daytime-appropriate looks in the past few weeks which I'm so happy about, but I also really like it as a blush - although you do need to be really light-handed because it's so pigmented. But the best way I've found to wear this that I never would have thought of before is on the lips with some lip balm and possibly a lip liner depending on how intense you want it to look. If you have an eye shadow like this in your collection that you think would look nice as a lip colour, definitely try this out because it looks amazing and so unique!

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 'Permanent Taupe': I resolved to use this as a liner, and to be fair I have actually made a concerted effort to do this as much as possible. However, the thing is that I just prefer a darker shade of grey or a silvery shadow because I feel that they compliment my eyes more as opposed to this particular shade, which I find too flat, and so I gave it to a friend who's almost out of hers and needed a new one!

Max Factor Wild Shadow Pots in 'Burnt Bark' and 'Golden Amazon': I've been a big fan of sweeping on colour all over the lid, pairing it with some mascara and eyeliner and leaving it at that, and these shadows have been great for that. Admittedly I've been far more into the gold shade, but 'Burnt Bark' is so pretty on days when I'm going for a cooler toned look.

Beauty UK Posh Palette 2 :Masquerade 2: Just like I pretty much predicted in the original post, this needed to be thrown away. It was pretty old and wasn't performing the way it used to, and to be fair I just wasn't likely to ever use this as much as it deserved anyway. I'm much more of a warmer toned person!

B. Creative Art Edition Vol.3 Colour Collection - Day Palette: As I mentioned, I use the eye shadows in this palette quite often, but I never use the face products and that's why this ended up here. As predicted I still don't use the cream highlight or the blusher at all, and whilst I love mixing the two lip shades together I prefer them more as cream blushers. My next challenge is going to be to try and use the bronzer a lot more.

I love Shop My Stash sessions, and I have a feeling I'll be starting off 2017 with another one, but until then I'm going to try and use as much of my make-up as possible without spending too much on new products. Will you be shopping your stash anytime soon? What products have you rediscovered within your collection?
