Happy Monday everyone! It still feels like summer here in Florida, so I'm continuously making refreshing drinks. This detoxing smoothie has become one of my favorites. It's simple, nutritious, full of fiber, and tastes like key lime pie! Serves one.

Ingredients:

2 frozen bananas

2 handfuls of spinach

1 orange (juice only)

1/2 lime (juice only)

1/2 lemon (juice only)

Directions:

  1. Place the two handfuls of spinach in a blender (any blender will do).
  2. Pour the juice of the orange, lime, and lemon over the spinach and blend thoroughly.
  3. Add the two frozen bananas and blend until smooth.
  4. Drink and enjoy!

Sidenote: If you do not mind a smoothie with pulp, you can simply peel the orange, lime, and lemon and add with the spinach. I am not a huge fan of pulp, so I squeeze the juice out first.
