So now that I’ve done a pretty thorough post on what I keep in my bathroom, I figured I would do an appropriate follow-up post on my absolute essentials that I take with me/keep an extra copy of for sleepovers at my bae/best friend’s house (or wherever you may be going:) ).

I like to always keep an extra pair of my favorite lashes with me, first and foremost. Obviously along with an extra lash glue (currently using Kiss’ Aloe Vera lash adhesive for sensitive eyes), and a mini tweezer for urgently-needed application! Also an old or travel size mascara for your bottom lashes.

If your foundation comes in a travel size or is small enough to fit in a plastic bag full of cosmetics in your purse, go for it. Mine unfortunately isn’t; so instead, I went to Sephora and asked for a sample (which is free, for all my resourcefully frugal readers😉 ) of Benefit’s Erase Paste. This stuff is great for quickly blotting over any dark spots, stubborn zits, etc. that makeup may have fallen off of through the night/during the day. I also like to keep a travel size of Cetaphil’s Moisturizing Lotion in case I have a dry spot, or need to wash my face unexpectedly.

brow pencil is another one of my on-the-go essentials! Can’t go anywhere without my brows – and I do mean anywhere!!!! I use a pricey product for my brows (Anastasia’s Brow Wiz) which I already run through like water and spend way too much money on refilling; so I like to keep a cheaper alternative in my bag with me instead. I am currently using Studio 10’s Brow Pencil/Highlighting Duo that I got in last month’s GlossyBox. It isn’t as easy to use as my Anastasia, but it gets the job done and is perfect for when I just need a quick touch-up in the morning or while I’m out and about.

Next are my lip products. MUST HAVE Burt’s Bees Chapstick and Baby Lips Clear Chapstick at ALL TIMES! I use these in conjunction with either a lip liner (Subculture by MAC), or No7’s High Shine Lip Crayon; which is a great all-in-one lip product!

Lastly, a travel size of Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray for when my hair is falling limp and needs a quick pick-me-up! Accompanied by a travel size comb or brush (if you can fit it in).

Oh! & a travel size rollerball of your favorite perfume!

Okay… Reading this post makes me feel like I carry a lot with me! Yikes. What do you think? Should I/can I simplify? Or is there any other essential that I’m completely leaving out? Let me know!
