I have a guitar in the room with my computer.  Sometimes something gets in my nose and I let out this huge sneeze.  Immediately after the sneeze I can hear the string on my guitar ringing.  I don’t touch it, or even face it, but the sound waves from my sneeze are enough to set the strings vibrating.  The sound I release goes out in waves and affects the world around me.

The same can be said for the words, or songs I release.  When I speak the word of God, or sing songs of praise, that sound is released into the atmosphere and changes it.  In Psalms 66:8 we are told, “O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard.” (KJV)  We are to let His praises be heard.  Many of us sing His praises to ourselves or in church, but we are to sing them aloud where they can be heard by the world.  His praises are not to be only in private, they are also to be in public for everyone to hear and thereby releasing His presence into the world.
