I like winter and I like snow.  Children need to be able to go tobogganing and build snow forts.  But there comes a point at which I say ‘I’m done’.  It’s usually around the middle of March that I admit enough is enough and I begin to look forward to spring, warmth and flowers.  Around now I think most people are looking forward to the arrival of spring.  The best part is, we know it is coming.  Now matter what the weather, we know spring will eventually arrive.

The same can be said for the second coming of Christ.  No matter what we feel or what people tell us, we know He will come again.  It may be soon, or it may be far in the future, but He will come.  John 14:3 tells us, “And if I’m on my way to get your room ready, I’ll come back and get you so you can live where I live.” (The Message)

Spring may be a welcome event, but Christ’s return will be an unbelievably amazing event.  The question is, will you be ready?
